Specialized items


Shoes of leather, canvas or plastic can be bronzed by our method and mounted on a polished stand. They can be displayed along with a photograph of the child and a brass plate giving the baby’s Christian name and birth date, or they can be left unmounted. From your daughter’s first baby booties to the shoes she wore to her first formal.  Remember, we can almost bronze anything, our limit is your imagination.

Bronze Craft is a family run business that specialises in personalising your most cherised items.  We are based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and can deliver to all parts of the world!

Just think of the delight as you present your mother with her grandchild’s first shoes, permanently preserved by hand in a thick coat of pure copper bronze that not only captures every detail such as stitching, wrinkles and scuff marks, but turns them into beautiful keepsakes that would adorn any home. It’s the memory captured forever by ‘Bronzecraft’ that makes these gifts so special.

We use a process called electroplating – a magical combo of chemistry and electricity – to make copper accumulate on your baby’s actual shoes, preserving them forever!

Thank you so much for my baby shoes they are absolutely beautiful I would never have dreamed that they could be so nice. I have shown them off to my friends and a few of them are interested in getting their babies shoes done.

I have had them bronzed as a birthday present to myself and I can honestly say that it is the best gift that I have ever had. My step daughter really would like one of the shoes but I cannot part with one of them so I will have one of Olivia's next shoes bronzed for Christmas for her.

My son's newly bronzed baby shoes arrived safely in the post this morning.

Please pass on my thanks to all those involved. I was a bit concerned at first with sending something so precious in the post to a company I had not heard of before but I am very impressed with the speed and courtesy I have received from your service and will certainly be spreading the news.

It was hard to imagine what the shoes would look like on their return and what I received this morning far exceeded my expectations and I certainly feel I have my money's worth! The red velvet lining is a nice touch too.

F.A.Q

We cannot bronze fur or velvet.

We can bronze most things, check our specialized items page in the services section above for examples.

Sorry, the laces must be tied or they would break during polishing.

Oversized shoes should be left unmounted, as they will not fit our bases.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth.  Don’t ever use a cleaner or polish as they will damage the protective lacquer coating finish.
